If, in the case of a flat-rate repair, it is determined that the electronics are not repairable, a fee of €50.00 will be charged, provided that €50.00 does not exceed 10% of the agreed fixed price. If €50.00 exceeds 10% of the agreed fixed price, we are entitled to charge 10% of the agreed fixed price as a fee. More in the Terms and Conditions. |
Will I receive a quote before the repair work begins?
If you would like to receive a personalized quote before the repair begins, please check this option in step 3 of the repair order form. We will then send the quote to your email address and wait for your approval.
How much are the shipping costs for return shipments?
- Standard shipping within Germany: 9.40 euro + packing 2.50 euro (net)
- Standard shipping within the EU: 22,50 euro + packing 2.50 euro (net)
- Express delivery within Germany: 17.50 euros + 2.50 euros packaging (net)
- Overnight shipping within Germany (Attention: only with overnight shipping depot): 50.00 euros + 2.50 euros packaging (net)
- Shipping to non-European countries: 52,40 euros + 2.50 euros packaging (net)
Please note that packages with special dimensions or weights may incur additional costs.
How long does it take for my order to be processed?
Our standard processing time is approx. 3 – 5 working days after reception of the defective electronic part. Depending on the season and order situation, processing times may be longer. Please refer to the item details page of your defective electronics for the exact times.
For express orders, the processing time is shortened to 1 – 2 working days after reception of the electronic part. In some cases, additional components need to be ordered for repairs. In this case, processing may be delayed.
Please note that the processing of your repair order, if you request a quote, will only begin after you have approved the quote.
Is there a warranty on the repair?
We grant you an additional one-year warranty on the repair of defective operating elements, monitors, displays, instrument clusters and all other electronic components. However, this only applies to the repaired function of the electronics for fixed prices.
Do I have to pay for the shipping costs in case of a warranty claim?
In case of a warranty claim, we assume the standard shipping costs from us to you. Express shipment is not included in the warranty coverage.
Is my shipment insured in case it gets lost?
For standard shipping, our packages are insured up to a product value of 510.– euro.
What payment options are available?
We offer the following payment options: Prepayment, PayPal, credit card
As an approved dealer, you can also pay on account.
On collection, payment must be made in cash or by credit card/EC card.
Our business hours: Mon. - Fri. from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00
Can processing fees be charged if my part cannot be repaired?
Yes, you will be charged a processing fee.
What happens if no error can be found on my electronics
There might be a different cause for the error/defect. Please note that an inspection fee will be charged.

Do I have to include anything in my package?

What is the service portal and how can I log in?
In the serviceportal from Ilgenfritz Mechatronics you can view the current status of your repair orders at any time. From dispatch to repair to communication with our technicians. The service portal also offers the option of uploading documents for the repair of your defective electronics and requesting a collection.
To log in to the service portal, simply use the access data from the online store. If you do not yet have access data, you can register here in the store.
Can I switch my repair order to Express Service afterwards?
If you have only ticked Standard Service on the repair form, but would still like an Express Service, please contact us by telephone after we have received the parcel.
If you use the service portal, you can write us a message directly in the order log to change the priority.
Please do not notify us of the change to express via the offer email, as your message will only be read when the part is being processed.
I have forgotten my access data for the service portal, what can I do?
If you have forgotten your password, please click on "Forgotten password" in the online store login. There you can enter your e-mail address to request a new password. The access data for the online store is also the same as for the service portal.
If you need a new access, you can also simply register again.
